Rachna Keshwani is the first blind Customer Success associate for Outlook Business Solutions. She began her Outlook career in the human resources department in 2016 and then transitioned into helping promote the organization’s enrichment events. Joining OBS gave her the opportunity to grow her professional skills and to help expand blind employment through a new business.
Rachna graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2013 with a degree in psychology and education. She knew she wanted to use her career to help others but was not sure where life would take her.
Rachna immigrated with her family to the United States from India when she was 5 years old. Her parents worked hard to create their life in America, and Rachna, blind since birth, was determined to do the same to establish her career.
Rachna spent time after college volunteering for various summer programs working with blind students before she moved to Kansas City for a full-time position. Missing being around people she knew and feeling unsure of her career, Rachna moved back to Omaha. Shortly after she returned, the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired introduced her to Outlook Nebraska. At Outlook, Rachna found friends and people who believed in her abilities. She found a place that shared her life goal of creating opportunities for the blind.
During her time as the community outreach coordinator for Outlook Nebraska, Rachna saw the positive impact of the programs. She enhanced her public speaking and planning skills while meeting others with vision loss. Outlook Business Solutions taught her how to deliver quality call campaigns with an emphasis on top-notch customer service. Her communication and problem solving skills have grown significantly since joining Outlook Business Solutions last fall.
Whether she is conducting a satisfaction survey or answering questions in a follow-up email, Rachna strives to create a unique experience for her customer. She enjoys listening to her customers and takes the time to learn about their industry and how Outlook Business Solutions can help them succeed.
Rachna and the Outlook Business Solutions team recently completed a business-intelligence-gathering campaign for Motorola. This campaigns supports the Motorola Solutions Team and Motorola dealerships in the eastern United States. Rachna is responsible for a three-state area.
Rachna is a member of the National Federation of the Blind, the Omaha Association of the Blind, and Toastmasters.
