Meet Valerie Gardner

Valerie has loved to use her creative passion for as long as she can remember. She loves art, bringing thoughts and ideas to life through graphics and photos. Valerie’s design skills started her on a career path that helped her discover her love for marketing.

Valerie’s over 20 years of marketing experience covers industries including finance, healthcare and nonprofits. In addition to her design skills, Valerie realized early on she could help organizations deliver their messages through more than just advertising and design. She enjoys using marketing strategies to help her organization succeed.

Valerie’s ability to coach teams through agile project management, deliver customized solutions to clients, and bring a business plan to fruition makes her the perfect fit for the Outlook Business Solutions operations manager position. Also known as the company’s integrator, Valerie uses her project management skills as well as her astute eye for detail to bring all major business functions together and help our clients succeed.

Valerie received a bachelor’s degree in journalism, advertising and art from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. She brings her Comprehensive Art Direction, brand storytelling, cross-functional collaboration and social and SEO talents to the Outlook Business Solutions team. Valerie held previous marketing positions at Securities America, The Water’s Edge Methodist Church and Faith Westwood United Methodist Church.

The love for art also shapes Valerie’s hobbies. She regularly attends events at the Orpheum Theatre, Omaha Community Playhouse and other live-performance venues. Valerie had a busy summer. After a small wedding ceremony in Nebraska, she finished her move to Kansas. Though her Pomeranian puppy, Reggie, still seeks lots of attention, he has adjusted well to his new home. Valerie will continue her Outlook Business Solutions work remotely.

A little known fact about Valerie is that she knows her cars. She dreams of owning a 1955 Thunderbird someday. She does not claim to be a mechanic but will give you the scoop on almost any set of wheels you are interested in.
